This Electric ADV Looks Right Out Of A Sci-fi Movie

The electric motorcycle segment has lately picked up pace and manufacturers have been experimenting with different segments of electric bikes. Following this trend, Indonesian EV maker Baran Energy has come up with the Anubis CruiserCross, a futuristic-looking electric ADV.

In terms of appearance, the Anubis CruiserCross looks right out of a sci-fi movie and something that Tom Cruise would ride while escaping from enemies in a foreign State. It gets a futuristic body design, neatly integrated minimalistic body panels that look bulbous, yet sharp and muscular. 

The electric motorcycle also gets a wide ADV-style fender beak and accentuating the muscular appeal are the fork covers and battery casing that are designed to gel well with the rest of the bike.

Powering the ADV is an electric motor producing 46.6PS and 106Nm, paired with a 6.3kWh battery pack. This makes it claim an impressive 158kmph top speed and 132km urban range. That said, the EV’s range might be an issue and could prove to be not sufficient when taken off-road.

In terms of underpinnings, the bike features a USD fork and a monoshock suspension setup. For braking, the ADV gets discs at both ends. It rolls on spoke wheels wrapped in block patterned rubber. Also, it features an all-LED lighting system, a digital instrument cluster and a storage compartment on the ‘fuel tank’.
