The weather’s beginning to heat up and so is the two-wheeler space. The lull after Auto Expo 2023 is now long gone and manufacturers have begun to catch pace again. The last week of this financial year had quite a lot of things to talk about, five of which we've listed below.
Honda had a LOT in store for us this week. The Japanese giant gave us something new to talk about each day of the week, an OCD-ridden person’s dream.
The brand first announced that it had as many as 10 electric vehicles in the pipeline in the next five years. Next, it launched the updated Honda Activa 125. The bigger Activa is now smarter and cleaner.
Giving us some more insight into its electric plans, Honda also revealed the launch timeline for its much-anticipated electric Activa. The brand then also revealed that there’s a new 350cc bike incoming for India, and here’s what we think it’ll be all about.
For the final day of the week, the Japanese marque had another launch prepped up, giving us the updated SP 125.
Nope, not the Triumph-Bajaj Scrambler, this time we saw the Triumph-Bajaj Roadster. This one’s been seen testing in India for the first time and of course the boys at ZigWheels were responsible for it. Yes that sounds self-indulging but that’s how excited we always are to bring you scoop earlier than everyone else. Check out all about the bike in our exclusive story.
The Suzuki e-Burgman, the brand’s first e-scoot, one that’s based on the Burgman Street, has been unveiled. It sounds rather underwhelming on paper, mainly due to the fact that Suzuki is still running a pilot program for the same. Check it out here.
Gogoro had a couple of things in store for us as well. Two of the Taiwanese brand’s scooters, the 2 and 2 Plus, were homologated in India, revealing details about their range, output figures & more.
Next, the brand also joined hands with Zomato as a delivery partner. Here’s what the idea behind it is.
Odysse ended the month on a high (and silent) note, launching the Vader. While its specs sound quite decent, the Vader looks oddly similar to one particular Bajaj bike.
