After years of anticipation, Ultraviolette Automotive finally launched the F77 in India. While it sounds extremely impressive on paper, the F77 carries a rather high Rs 3.80 lakh price tag for its standard variant. The top-spec Recon variant costs an even more Rs 4.55 lakh (both ex-showroom India). If that’s put you off what promises to be India’s fastest electric bike, here’s a list of options you can consider instead of the F77:
The Kawasaki Ninja 400 has arguably been the best bike in the sub-400cc segment. For about Rs 44,000 more than the top-spec variant of the F77, you can get yourself a refined, versatile and tried-and-tested parallel twin sportbike from Kawasaki. Sounds interesting…doesn’t it?
While the KTM 390 Adventure is a fair bit cheaper than the 10 percent plus or minus range we usually aim for in terms of pricing, it does present itself as an extremely appealing proposition. The powerful 373cc mill coupled with KTM’s comprehensive electronics’ package presented in an ADV format, one that’s the best for our roads, sounds very enticing. Even more so when you can get it for over Rs 42,000 less than F77’s base variant.

This might sound quirky, but hear us out. The Hero XPulse 200 4V and the KTM RC 390, both can be had for a combined Rs 4,53,566. Even with the combined pricing, it’s still almost Rs 2,000 less than the Recon variant. Your garage, hence, now has something to satisfy both your off-road and track needs. Best of both worlds, eh?
Not many bikes can match the charm of a big, muscular cruiser with a V-twin heart. The Keeway V302C definitely delivers on both fronts, at least on paper. So it is something you could consider if burly, American-styled cruisers are your thing.
The Zontes GK350 presents itself as an authentic neo-retro cafe racer. While its styling is properly retro, it packs modern goodies underneath. For Rs 3,47,000, you can get the Black Gold or Silver Orange colourways, both of which look quite attractive.
