Electric vehicles have grown tremendously in India over the past few years, which is why new carmakers are entering the market with their products, and the existing brands are also investing in the EV segment. Popular Vietnamese automaker VinFast is one such carmaker that has achieved a name in global markets and now aims to do so on our shores, starting the same by showcasing its global cars at India’s biggest auto show, the Auto Expo 2025.

A few days after teasing the VF7, VinFast has announced that the VF3 and VF9 will be displayed at the prestigious event. But, what are they? Let’s find out:

VinFast VF3 - Chota Packet Bada Dhamaka?

Well, that is how VinFast markets the VF3 globally! The VinFast VF3 is a micro SUV, which when launched in India, will likely carry a price tag of around Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom). It is a funky-looking car that is solely to transport you from point A to B. It comes with a very basic design featuring a boxy silhouette and only a pair of doors for your ingress and egress. The bumpers, ORVMs and wheel arches are all blacked-out giving it a contrasting look. The rear end is almost flat, complimenting its muscular and boxy design.

The interior of the compact car features a large 10-inch infotainment system taking centre stage. You get horizontal AC vents positioned above the AC controls. Everything else inside is pretty basic and non-complicated.

The design of the VF9 is premium and elegant while not being too in the face. The bumper and the headlights have a clean look. It gets striking alloy wheels and viewing it from the sides will give you the realization of how long the SUV is. The rear sports sleek connected LED DRLs that accentuate the width of the SUV and also give it a modern appeal.
