The Citroen eC3 promises a claimed range of 320km but how far can it go when driven like a normal person?

The Citroen eC3 is the French marque’s first electric offering in the country. It’s nothing but the C3 plonked in with an electric motor and a battery pack. So when the stylish electric hatchback arrived at our office, we wanted to put it through our gruelling Drive To Death test. But before we reveal the answer, here’s a quick spec check. The eC3 is powered by a 57PS/142Nm electric motor that draws power from a 29.2kWh battery pack. This setup delivers a claimed range of 320km. But let’s be honest that achieving that figure is tough as they are done under stringent testing conditions.

So how much does the eC3 manage to do on a single charge when you drive it like any normal person would do? To find that out, grab some popcorn check out our Drive To Death video of the eC3:

Meanwhile, if you intend to buy the eC3 and want to know our impressions of it, check out our in-depth road test review. And to see how its performance compares to that of its immediate rival – the Tata Tiago EV – head here to see our performance testing comparison
