Tata has officially showcased the 2023 Safari facelift and pre-launch bookings for the car are underway. It is offered in four broad trims: Smart, Pure, Adventure, and Accomplished. Adventure is further classified into Adventure+ variants, where the latter gets a few more goodies. If you are looking to buy this particular trim of the Safari, let's take a closer look at it in our image gallery.
From the outside, the Adventure trim features the new blacked-out parametric grille with the skid plate finished in dark grey. It features the new connected LED DRLs with projector headlights and gets LED fog lamps as well. The headlights include a 'follow me home' function, and with the Adventure+ upgrade, you also get automatic headlights.
The Adventure trim rides on 18-inch alloys that feature a new design with aero inserts. It also sports the 'Safari' badging on the front door, body-coloured door handles, roof rails, and blacked-out ORVMs with integrated indicators.

At the rear, it features new connected LED taillights without the welcoming function or sequential turn indicators. It also gets a shark fin antenna, and a rear washer/wiper.
The cabin, which gets different themes depending on the variant, is predominantly finished in brown, tan and beige. The dashboard has soft-touch materials on the top and the dark wood accent along the dashboard add to the overall premium touch. It also boasts a new 4-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo.
In terms of features, its gets a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto/Apple Carplay, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, fully single-zone automatic climate control, a height adjustable driver seat with lumbar support, multiple drive modes, ambient lighting, rear window sunshades, and cruise control.
In terms of safety, it gets 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, all-wheel disc brakes, ISOFIX mounts for child seats, a rear parking camera with parking sensors, remote central locking, 3-point seatbelts for all seats, and a tyre pressure monitoring system
If you upgrade to the Adventure+ trim, you get the panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera system, electronic parking brake, wireless phone charger, front parking sensors, air purifier and paddle shifters for the automatic transmission variant. The Adventure+ trim also packs ADAS, along with the features mentioned above .
The Tata Safari Adventure trim is offered with a sole 2-litre diesel engine that outputs 170PS/350Nm, paired only to a 6-speed manual transmission. If you prefer an automatic transmission, it’s available with the Adventure+ trim and upwards
While the official pricing for the 2023 Tata Safari has not been released, it is expected to come at a premium compared to the current model, which starts at Rs 15.84 lakh (ex-showroom). The updated Safari will continue to rival the likes of the MG Hector Plus, Hyundai Alcazar, and the Mahindra XUV700 7-seater variants.
