Bajaj’s NS lineup has gotten a refresh lately, with the Bajaj Pulsar NS160 and Pulsar NS200 having been updated for 2024. Along with the two, the 2024 Bajaj Pulsar NS125 has been launched with a price tag of Rs 1,04,922. This makes it Rs 5,351 dearer than the previous generation bike, which retailed at Rs 99,571 (both ex-showroom Delhi).
The changes in the 2024 model include the new LED headlight with LED DRLs and indicators and an all-new LCD instrument console. The headlight cluster consists of two LED clusters stacked vertically and are flanked on either by LED DRLs that are shaped like a lightning bolt. The headlight cowl has been reworked as well, sporting cleaner design lines compared to the older model.
The LCD instrument console is a negatively-lit all-new unit and comes equipped with Bluetooth connectivity. It doesn’t get turn-by-turn navigation like the updated Pulsar NS160 and the Pulsar NS200. The rest of the bike has remained unchanged. As such, it is still powered by a 124.45cc, single-cylinder, air cooled engine producing 11.96PS and 11Nm. The bike’s muscular and aggressive styling has also remained the same.
These are the biggest updates the Bajaj Pulsar NS125 has received so far. But have these updates helped in making the Pulsar NS125 compete better with its arch rival, the TVS Raider 125? Well, not in terms of features so because the Raider’s top-end SmartXonnect variant gets a TFT instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation AND is still more affordable than the NS125 by Rs 2,152. That said, the Pulsar NS125 still has the upper hand when it comes to the power figure, and it also has a sportier perimeter frame.
