2024 TVS Jupiter 110 Features Explained

The TVS Jupiter’s features list is quite extensive with LCD instrument console, turn-by-turn navigation, all-LED lighting and much more

The TVS Jupiter 110 has just received a generational update and is available in four variants: Drum, Drum Alloy, Drum SmartXonnect, and Disc SmartXonnect. Here’s an in-depth look at all the features it gets:

The TVS Jupiter gets all-LED lighting with the turn indicators integrated with the front DRL bar and the tail light. The LED DRL’s shape that stretches from one side of the front apron to the other, sets the scooter apart from the others in its segment. It gets an LCD instrument console that shows speedometer, odometer, fuel gauge, distance to empty, average fuel economy, real-time fuel economy, clock, and other readouts. The SmartXonnect variants get Bluetooth connectivity for call and SMS alerts, turn-by-turn navigation, and voice assist.

The updated Jupiter gets hazard lights, which can be actuated using the switch for the turn indicators. It also gets the ‘Follow Me’ function which keeps the headlight on for a few seconds even after the scooter is switched off. This is especially helpful in illuminating the path ahead of you at night, when the scooter is parked. The Emergency Brake Warning feature makes the tail light blink several times under heavy braking scenarios.

The Jupiter gets “Intelligent Start Stop (ISS)” technology which switches off the engine when it idles for more than a set duration of time, and can be restarted by a twist of the throttle. It also gets an ‘iGO Assist Technology’ and it consists of three components: integrated starter generator (ISG), ISG controller and the battery. It gives an extra boost of torque when the feature is switched on. While riding, a notification pops up on the console letting the rider know when the assist is ready and one needs to simply blip the throttle a bit to activate the iGO assist.

Other features include a front fuel filler cap, a bag hook, USB charging port and a 2-litre glove box on the front apron. The scooter gets an underseat storage space of 33 litres which can accommodate two helmets. Like the features, the rest of the scooter is new as well. It is powered by a new 113.3cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces 8.02PS at 6500rpm and 9.2Nm at 5000rpm (9.8Nm at 5000rpm with iGO assist). It rivals the likes of the Honda Activa and the Hero Pleasure.
