Ducati has introduced two fresh additions to its Scrambler lineup for 2025: the Scrambler Full Throttle and the Scrambler Icon Dark. While the Full Throttle has been available previously, the 2025 version brings a refreshed look with new colour schemes inspired by Ducati’s racing history from the 1970s. The Icon Dark, as its name suggests, adopts a stealthy, blacked-out design with a minimalist aesthetic.
Both models are set to go on sale in 2025, remaining mechanically identical to their outgoing versions. However, Ducati has focused on aesthetic updates to refresh the lineup. Both motorcycles are powered by the same 803cc L-Twin engine, which delivers 73PS at 8,250rpm and 65.2Nm at 7,000rpm. Weighing in at 176kg, they offer a standard seat height of 795mm, with Ducati providing optional seat heights —either lowering it to 780mm or raising it to 810mm for enhanced rider comfort. The Scrambler gets a 330mm disc at the front and a 245mm disc at the rear, attached to 18-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels.
In term of features, the Scrambler get a 4.3-inch TFT screen which gets two riding modes: Road and Sport, LED lights all round, USB charging socket, bi-directional quickshifter, cornering ABS, switchable traction control, and a host of other electronics.
The Scrambler Full Throttle gets a flat-tracker aesthetic. For 2025, Ducati has introduced a black-and-bronze colour scheme, with livery designs inspired by 1970s racing motorcycles. A standout feature is the numbered side plates, each carrying the number ‘62’ as a tribute to the first Ducati Scrambler launched in 1962.
Mechanically, the Full Throttle remains unchanged, but Ducati has added a Termignoni exhaust and a bi-directional quickshifter.
The Scrambler Icon Dark takes a more undercover approach with a matte black finish across its fuel tank, mudguards, tank covers, and headlight housing. This monotone colour gives the bike a sleek, minimalist look.
While both models share similar features, the Icon Dark offers the bi-directional quickshifter as an optional extra.
The Ducati Scrambler 800 was priced at around Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom) mark, we can expect a hike over the previous model. The 2025 Scrambler is expected to arrive at the Indian shore sometime next year.
