Above all, both Black Editions feature a new paint job and an all-black cabin, while there are no mechanical changes.

The price of the Elevate Black Edition ranges between Rs 15.51 lakh and Rs 16.73 lakh, whereas the Elevate Signature Black Edition costs Rs 15.71 lakh and Rs 16.93 lakh, respectively. The Black Edition and Signature Black Edition command a premium of Rs 10,000 and Rs 20,000 over the ZX variant of the standard model.
Both the Elevate Black Edition and Signature Black Edition sport a few cosmetic changes. With this, Honda has also introduced a new colour option, called Crystal Black Pearl. Interestingly, this shade has been used for the roof of the dual-tone colour options of the standard Elevate.
More to the point, the Elevate Black Edition features new black alloy wheels and a new contrasting silver door garnish, which is body-coloured in the standard model. Additionally, the Black Edition gets silver roof rails and silver trim for the front and rear bumpers. The prominent chrome strip on the Black Edition’s grille, on the other hand, has been retained from the standard model. Last but not least, there is a ‘Black Edition’ badge on the tailgate.
Moreover, the Elevate Signature Black Edition comes with an all-black appearance, such as black alloy wheels, a black chrome stripe above the grille, door garnish, roof rails, and front and rear bumper trim. Not only is there a ‘Black Edition’ badge on the tailgate, but also new ‘Signature Edition’ badges on the fender. Notably, the Signature Black Edition package is available for the Black Edition version as an optional extra.
Both the Elevate Black Edition and Elevate Signature Black Edition now come with an all-black interior theme. There is a new black leatherette upholstery with black stitching, plus the coloured trim on the dashboard, centre console, and door that now features black treatment. Exclusive to the Signature Black Edition is 7-colour ambient lighting. The cabin carries over the overall design otherwise.
The Elevate Black Edition and the Elevate Signature Black Edition continue with the same features as the models they are based on. Key features include LED projector headlights, LED fog lamps, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a semi-analogue instrument cluster with a 7-inch display, a PM 2.5 filter, a wireless charging pad, an engine start/stop switch, an electric sunroof, auto-dimming IRVM, 8 speakers, and paddle shifters.
The safety kit of the new Elevate Black Editions includes hill hold control, ABS with EBD, a lane watch camera, electronic stability programme (ESP), ISOFIX mounts, an emergency stop signal, brake assist, a rearview camera with rear parking sensors, and 6 airbags. Also on offer is ADAS.
The special edition of the Elevate Black Edition is powered by the same 1.5-litre 4-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine that generates 121 PS and 145 Nm. This motor is available with a 6-speed manual or a CVT automatic transmission.
The Elevate Black Edition takes on the Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Skoda Kushaq, MG Astor, Toyota Hyryder, Citroen Basalt, Tata Curvv, and Volkswagen Taigun.
