Kia India is all geared up to launch the 2024 Sonet facelift tomorrow. The refreshed sub-4m SUV, revealed last month, has reached dealerships ahead of its launch. Bookings for the 2024 Sonet are underway, while deliveries are set to begin later this month. If you are eyeing the upcoming Sonet facelift, here are the 5 key things you need to know about it ahead of the launch.
Up front, the 2024 Sonet features a revised and larger grille with fresh inserts and updated LED DRLs which extend to the bumpers. It also boasts updated LED headlights, and the bumpers house sleek LED fog lamps. Apart from the new alloys, the side profile remains largely unchanged. Moving on to the rear, it boasts new connected LED taillights, drawing inspiration from the 2023 Seltos facelift.
Inside, the overall dashboard layout of the 2024 Sonet is similar to the pre-facelift model. However, you can see noticeable revisions in the centre console in the form of an updated climate control panel. Higher-specced variants also feature different interior colour themes which you can check it out over here.
While the Sonet was already known for its feature-rich cabin, with the facelift, the list expands with the inclusion of a digital driver’s display, semi-powered driver’s seat, 360-degree camera, and ADAS. It retains features like the 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay/ Android Auto, automatic climate control, a single-pane sunroof, ventilated front seats, wireless phone charger, and the Bose sound system.
Apart from the newly added safety features, the 2024 Sonet comes equipped with six airbags, ABS with EBD, front and rear parking sensors, electronic stability control, and a tyre pressure monitoring system.
There are no significant updates in the powertrain department, except for the reintroduction of the 6-speed manual transmission with the Sonet’s diesel engine. For detailed specifications of the 2024 Kia Sonet facelift, refer to the table below:
