Acer’s first ever two-wheeler gets swappable batteries and massive 16-inch wheels among other features

Acer is a well-known brand in India for laptops and other electronic items. But soon, their product lineup will encompass electric scooters as well as Acer Electric has entered the two-wheeler market with the Acer Muvi 125 4G. It is priced at Rs 99,999 (ex-showroom). The electric scooter has been designed and manufactured by Think eBikeGo Private Limited and will be sold under the Acer Electric brand.

The Muvi 125 4G has a claimed top speed of 75kmph and a claimed range of 80km. It comes with 16-inch wheels and three colour options: Polar White, Carbon Black and Glacier Silver. It also gets swappable batteries which should increase the convenience factor of the scooter. In terms of looks, the electric scooter has a very quirky and unconventional design language compared to the other electric two-wheelers in the market.

Acer Electric says that the Muvi 125 4G has been developed to handle daily commutes and can also be custom-built for uses in the B2B space like food and grocery delivery. The e-scooter can  be pre-booked for Rs 999 through the brand’s official website and Acer Electric has said that plans are underway to develop their distribution and dealership network across some of the major Indian cities.

In terms of rivals, the Okinawa Okhi-90, Bajaj Chetak and the TVS iQube are its closest ones. They are much more expensive but they also come with more features and an already established brand network across the country.
