All You Need To Know About The 2024 Honda Amaze VX Variant In 8 Images

The new 2024 Honda Amaze was recently introduced in India with a price ranging between Rs 8 lakh and Rs 10.90 lakh (ex-showroom). It is available in 3 variants across 6 paint options. But the new-gen sedan carries over the same 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol engine as the previous model. That said, here we take a look at the mid-spec Amaze VX variant and what it offers or misses out on compared to the top-spec Amaze ZX.

For reference, the Amaze ZX costs Rs 9.70 lakh (MT) and Rs 10.90 lakh (AT). Whereas, the entry-level Amaze V is priced at Rs 8 lakh (MT) and Rs 9.20 lakh (AT). All prices are ex-showroom.

2024 Honda Amaze: Design

The generation update brings a fresh and modern look to the Honda Amaze but the new design also borrows a few styling cues from its elder siblings, such as the City and Elevate.

The Amaze VX variant, as seen in the pictures, slightly differs from the Amaze ZX. At the front, it misses out on the gloss black finish for the mesh pattern grille but retains a prominent chrome stripe running across the edge of the bonnet. Other highlights include LED projector headlights with prominent eyebrow pattern LED DRLs and LED fog lights.

The side profile, on the other hand, features noticeable changes in the Amaze VX. Instead of chrome finish, the door handles are painted in the same colour as the body, plus there are 15-inch monotone multi-spoke silver alloy wheels. Whereas, the Amaze ZX has diamond-cut wheels. What remains unchanged is the rear end, irrespective of the VX or ZX variant. Honda has equipped it with new taillights reminiscent of the City but they get distinct lighting elements.

Meanwhile, the Amaze VX is available in 6 colors, such as Obsidian Blue Pearl (new), Lunar Silver Metallic, Golden Brown Metallic, Meteoroid Grey Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, and Radiant Red Metallic.

2024 Honda Amaze: Interior & Features

Inside, the interior of the 2024 Honda Amaze features an upmarket and minimalist layout. It also shares design similarity with the interior of the Elevate.

The Amaze VX has the same dual-tone colour theme as the ZX but it does not come with satin metallic finish on the steering wheel. Speaking of which, the steering wheel is also different from that on the ZX as the mid-spec variant lacks additional controls for ADAS and other functions. Moreover, the VX misses out on soft touch armrest fabric pad.

On the other hand, the Amaze VX is equipped with all the essentials, such as an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with  wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a semi-analogue instrument cluster with a 7-inch display, rear air-con vents, adjustable headrests (front and rear), a wireless phone charger, USB Type-C ports, paddle shifters (CVT only), automatic climate control and 6 speakers.

Safety further includes 6 airbags, a lane-watch camera, hill start assist, a rearview camera with parking sensors, electronic stability programme (ESP), brake assist, and brake override system. The catch here is that the Amaze VX does not offer Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) as that is limited to the top-end ZX variant.
