Aprilia RS 457 To Be Unveiled In India Today

Aprilia unveiled its all-new sub-500cc supersport, the RS 457 globally a couple of weeks ago and is all set to unveil it in India today. 

The Aprilia RS 457 gets a true-blue supersport design language with the typical Aprilia twin-LED headlight design and an aggressive-looking front-end. It is powered by a 457cc, liquid-cooled, twin-cylinder engine producing 47.6PS. It gets a preload adjustable 41mm USD fork & monoshock suspension setup and a 320mm front and 220mm rear disc brake setup with dual-channel ABS and a Supermoto mode. 

Features-wise, it gets a 5-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity available as an option. It also gets ride-by-wire technology, 3 riding modes and 3 levels of traction control. 

The Aprilia RS 457 is likely to fetch a price tag of about Rs 4.25 lakh (ex-showroom) and is expected to be launched in India very soon. Its primary rival will be the Kawasaki Ninja 400 and the KTM RC 390.
