Ather Rizta Deliveries Commence In Select Cities

Ather Energy has commenced delivery of its family scooter, the Ather Rizta. In a recent post on social media, the CEO of Ather Energy, Tarun Mehta, announced the deliveries of the Ather Rizta in select cities like Ahmedabad, Pune, Delhi, Lucknow, Agra, Jaipur, Nagpur, & across Andhra Pradesh. In the caption, he also mentioned that deliveries of the electric scooter in other cities will begin soon.

Not too long ago we saw a post from the EV maker’s CEO  on social media announcing the production of the Rizta. Tarun has been quite active on social media platforms engaging with the audience which has helped the community feel ‘heard’, which might create a positive impact on potential buyers.

The Ather Rizta is a family-oriented practical electric scooter and is offered in two variants: Rizta S and Rizta Z. The Rizta S is priced at Rs 1,09,999 (ex-showroom, Bangalore). The Rizta Z is available with two battery options: a 2.9kWh battery, priced at Rs 1,24,999, and the bigger 3.7kWh battery, priced at Rs 1,44,999 (ex-showroom Bangalore). 

Rizta S and Rizta Z with the 2.9kWh capacity battery pack have a claimed IDC (Indian Driving Conditions) range of 123km. These two variants come with a 350W portable charger that takes approximately 6 hours and 40 minutes to charge from 0-80 percent. The Rizta Z with the  3.7kWh capacity battery pack has a claimed IDC range of 160km. It comes with the 700W Ather Duo charger that takes approximately 4 hours and 30 minutes to charge the scooter from 0-80 percent. 

The Rizta electric scooter has a boxy design compared to its sibling, the sporty Ather 450X. The scooter has two ride modes: Smart Eco and Zip. Feature-wise, while the Ather Rizta Z gets a 7-inch TFT instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity and Google Maps navigation, the Rizta S variant gets a 7-inch LCD instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation. Ather also offers a Pro package starting from Rs 13,000, that unlocks additional premium features. The scooter has a massive 34-litre of underseat storage space.
