Bajaj has increased prices across its entire BS6 lineup. The commuter range consisting of the CT100, CT110 and Platina models receive a price hike ranging from Rs 498 to Rs 749. You can check out the prices of all Pulsar models here and of Dominar and Avenger models here. Here are the new prices of Bajaj’s commuter lineup:
Model | Variant | Old Price (ex-showroom) | Revised price (ex-showroom) | Price Difference |
CT100 | KS ALLOY | Rs 40,794 | Rs 41,293 | Rs 499 |
ES ALLOY | Rs 48,474 | Rs 48,973 | Rs 499
CT110 | KS ALLOY | Rs 46,413 | Rs 46,912 | Rs 499 |
ES ALLOY | Rs 50,771 | Rs 55,546 | Rs 749
Platina 100 | KS ALLOY | Rs 47,265 | Rs 47,763 | Rs 498 |
ES ALLOY | Rs 54,797 | Rs 55,546 | Rs 749
Platina 110 H Gear | Rs 59,802 | Rs 60,550 | Rs 748 |
The CT100 models receive the lowest price hike while the Platina 110 H Gear sees the highest increment. Interestingly, the CT110 and Platina 100 KS variants receive a lower price hike compared to the ES variant. That makes sense as the price-conscious buyers opting for the base KS variants will appreciate the nominal hike.
Bajaj isn't the only bikemaker to increase the prices of its BS6 motorcycles. Hero, Honda and Yamaha too have increased the prices of their BS6 models. Quite a few Bajaj motorcycles like the Platina 110 and Discover 110 were discontinued before the BS6 deadline. Bajaj is also the only bikemaker to not use a fuel-injection on any of its commuter lineups. This has allowed the bikemaker to keep the prices of its commuter bikes extremely low.
