Bajaj Auto has reintroduced the Pulsar 220F in the Indian market for a limited period. Despite being off the market for well over a year, the demand for the 220cc motorcycle demanded this decision.
The Bajaj Pulsar 220F is unlikely to comply with the new emission norms, but if Bajaj does decide to do it, not only will it add to the production costs, it will also eat its way into the Pulsar F250’s market. Hence, the company is likely to keep the bike on sale only until the new emission norms kick in on April 1, 2023.
The iconic motorcycle won’t feature any major updates, and will still be powered by the same 220cc air-/oil-cooled single-cylinder producing 20.4PS and 18.55Nm. Though the bike will continue to use the same underpinnings and even carry over the same design, Bajaj will try to spice up its looks with some new graphics.
Bajaj has priced the 220F at Rs 1.67 lakh (on-road Pune), and deliveries are expected to commence next week onwards. You can book the bike for a token amount of just Rs 500. It will be available in Black/Red and a White/Black/Red paint scheme.
If you are still in awe of the legendary Pulsar 220F, this is probably your last chance to get your hands on the bike.
