[UPDATE: Bajaj has launched the Pulsar F250 and the N250 in India at Rs 1.40 lakh and Rs 1.38 lakh respectively. For more details on the specifications, availability and features, head to our launch story.]
Bajaj has dropped a teaser video of the new Pulsar 250F a week prior to the launch of the bike. The teaser video showcases a few tasty little details and before we reveal them all, you can spot them in the teaser video below:
As you can see, the Pulsar 250F sports an evolution of the Pulsar 220’s design. From the new LED headlamp, LED tail light, new split seats to the signature bikini fairing, the 220’s inspiration is everywhere. Of course, this shouldn’t come as much of a surprise considering that the Pulsar 250F has already been spotted on Indian roads, already revealing a lot of information.
With these bits, the Pulsar 250F will also feature an updated instrument cluster (probably digital) and a monoshock at the rear.
As for the engine, the teaser video clearly showcases an oil-cooler for the new 250cc single-cylinder motor. Don’t expect it to be highly sophisticated like the NS200, though we are sure that it will be more powerful and exciting than the Pulsar 220’s relatively-simple 2V air-cooled mill.
Bajaj is expected to go quite aggressive with its pricing for the Pulsar 250, probably pitting it at around Rs 1.32 lakh - Rs 1.34 lakh (ex-showroom). At this price, it would not only lock horns with the Yamaha FZS-25 but also give the likes of the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V some serious jitters.
