Hero MotoCorp has launched the Destini 125 family oriented scooter in India. The scooter was first unveiled last year, and is available in 3 variants: . Here’s a detailed breakdown of the prices: 

The 2024 Hero Destini 125 features a typical family-oriented scooter design and styling. The scooter has an H-shaped LED headlight and DRL. The scooter also gets a few premium bits like chrome and copper highlights depending on the colour schemes. The scooter manages to look a lot more premium when compared to the previous generation Destini 125.

The scooter is powered by the same 124.6cc air-cooled, single-cylinder motor which produces 9PS and 10.4Nm. But Hero has given the scooter a new CVT (continuously variable transmission) with this update. 

In terms of underpinnings, the Destini 125 is suspended on a telescopic fork and a single-sided shock absorber. It rolls on 12-inch alloys at both ends, with tubeless tyres. The top-of-the-line Hero Destini ZX+ variant offers a disc brake at the front, which will enhance the scooter’s braking performance overall.

In terms of features, the ZX and ZX+ variants offer smartphone connectivity and related bits. This includes call/SMS alerts and turn-by-turn navigation. Other features include auto-cancelling indicators, which is a neat addition.

We even had a chance to ride the scooter back when it was first unveiled, and we really liked its performance. The scooter is quite comfortable and many mature riders will really appreciate this aspect. It will go up against other family oriented scooters in the 125cc segment such as the TVS Jupiter 125 and the Suzuki Access 125.
