BREAKING: Details Of The Upcoming Honda Activa 125 H-Smart Leaked

Ahead of its official launch, details of the upcoming updated Honda Activa 125 H-Smart have leaked on the bikemaker’s website. It is now safer than ever and here are the highlights:

Similar to its updated younger sibling, the Honda Activa 125’s H-Smart variant will come equipped with a new “Smart Key” and boast new safety tech.

Smart Find - Indicators flash if you are within 10 metres of the scooter making it easy to find the location of the vehicle.

Smart Unlock - Keyless lock and unlock within two metres of the scooter along with remote unlocking of the fuel lid and seat.

Smart Safe - Keyless start by being simply within two metres of the scooter. If the distance increases, the scooter locks itself automatically. But you can also disable this feature, by pressing the button for three seconds. 

Smart Start - Turn the knob and push the start button to turn on the Activa 125. 

Apart from these bits, the Activa 125 should also be BS6-2 compliant with onboard diagnostics (OBD2). Otherwise, the scooter should remain unchanged and will be powered by the same 124cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected motor that makes 8.29PS and 10.3Nm.It should command a premium of around Rs 3,000 over the disc variant that costs Rs 84,916 (ex-showroom Delhi). It rivals the likes of Suzuki Access 125, Hero Maestro Edge 125, Yamaha Fascino 125 FI Hybrid and TVS Jupiter 125.
