Quick Highlights
Honda has launched the 2025 Activa 110 in India
The scooter now gets a new TFT console
It also gets an OBD-2B compliant engine as well
Honda has launched the updated Activa 110 in India starting at a price of Rs 80,950 (ex-showroom). This is a premium of Rs 2,226 when compared to the currently available Honda Activa. The scooter now comes with a few changes including the addition of a new TFT console and a OBD-2B compliant engine.
The first thing that stands out on the new Activa is the instrument console. The console is a 4.2-inch TFT unit, which offers regular readouts such as speed, fuel-level, odometer and trip meter readouts. Along with this, the console also offers an eco-indicator and readouts such as distance-to-empty (DTE) and realtime mileage.
Lastly, the console also offers smartphone connectivity via Bluetooth. The Honda RoadSync phone app allows turn-by-turn navigation and call & SMS alerts. This has brought more features to the table, including call/SMS alerts and turn-by-turn navigation.
Other changes with this update include, the engine being updated to meet OBD-2B emissions standards. This is something Honda has been doing across their lineup.
The scooter’s performance and underpinnings have not been changed with this update. The Activa is still powered by the same 109.51cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine albeit in an OBD-2B compliant form. The engine produces 7.9PS and 9.05Nm.
The scooter still gets the same telescopic fork and single-sided shock absorber suspension setup and it rolls on a 12-inch front and 10-inch rear alloy wheel setup. Braking duties are handled by 130mm drum units at both ends.
The Honda Activa is an iconic scooter, and one of India’s best selling ones. But over the years, its rivals have started to offer a lot more features while the Activa remained the same. With this update, the Activa has received some much needed features to make sure it remains competitive compared to its rivals.

That said, the updates in the current form are very basic and only the bare minimum essential things needed. We were hoping Honda would go for something more, in terms of design, performance and underpinnings. This updated scooter was supposed to be the Honda Activa 7G, but now the brand has dropped the G moniker from the name.
