As the year end approaches, carmakers are clearing their existing stock by offering discounts and promotions to prepare for whatever 2024 has in stock for us. So it’s natural that many carmakers refrain from introducing new models at this time. Despite that, some carmakers are set to add new models to their sales portfolio, including a popular subcompact SUV, in our market. Check it out.
Korean marque Kia is set to unveil the facelifted 2024 Sonet in India on December 14, 2023, with the official launch expected in early 2024. This marks the first midlife update for the subcompact SUV, featuring minor design updates and likely introducing new features such as a digital instrument cluster and 360-degree camera. A test mule had been spotted sans camouflage, revealing the car's updated design, which you can check out here.
Lamborghini’s Aventador successor, the Revuelto, will be launched on our shores on December 6, 2023. It will be powered by a 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 petrol engine coupled with a plug-in hybrid system, making it the first series production Lamborghini to feature an electrified powertrain. We expect Lamborghini to price the Revuelto at around Rs 8 crore (ex-showroom) and you can check more details about it in our previous report.
December will be a relatively quiet month for new car launches, with the unveiling of a mass-market subcompact SUV and a supercar. Share your thoughts in the comments about which car you are more excited about from the two listed above.
