The Brazilian car will use Stellantis’ 130PS 1-litre three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that’s offered with certain Fiat cars sold overseas. It gets an automatic option too!

The Citroen C3 Aircross is set to be launched in the Brazilian market soon. Ahead of its official introduction, the French marque has revealed the specifications of the Brazil-spec C3 Aircross. And the model sold there will get a completely different turbo-petrol engine and transmission option as compared to the model sold here.
The Brazilian C3 Aircross is propelled by a smaller 1-litre turbo-petrol engine that’s offered in various other Stellantis group’s cars such as Fiats and Peugeots. It’s more powerful than the 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine offered with the India-spec C3 Aircross and gets an automatic option too.

Citroen not offering an automatic transmission with the C3 Aircross in India is a bummer. But fret not as the French marque will introduce it later down the line, probably the 6-speed torque converter from the Indonesian model, not a CVT as is offered for the Brazil-spec SUV.
