Could This ADV Be The Upcoming Hero XPulse 400?

Along with the 400cc Hero ADV, the upcoming XPulse 200 4V has also been spotted testing

Quick News Highlights:

- Two upcoming Hero XPulse bikes have spotted testing

- One of the bikes doesn’t have engine fins and we think that could be the XPulse 400

- The other bike spotted is the upcoming Hero XPulse 210

An upcoming Hero XPulse bike has been spotted testing and we think it could be the XPulse 400. Along with it, the upcoming XPulse 210 was also spied on.

The ADV seen in the pictures gets quite a comprehensive switchgear and a wire can be seen going over it, similar to that of the Hero Mavrick 440. That is why we think this bike could be the Hero XPulse 400, powered by the 440cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 27PS at 6000rpm and 36Nm at 4000rpm in the Mavrick 440. It gets a big rear sprocket, which will help provide the good low-end torque needed in an ADV. The bike has been spotted with hard panniers, which suggests that they could be offered as accessories along with the pannier mounts. This also hints at the fact that Hero MotoCorp could be testing the touring capabilities of the bike along with its off-road abilities. The upcoming Hero XPulse 400 is expected to be launched by mid-2025 and the price tag is expected to be around the Rs 2.4 lakh (ex-showroom) mark.

The other bike spotted is the Hero XPulse 210 and the engine in the pictures doesn’t have fins on it. So, the ADV will be powered by the Hero Karizma XMR’s 210cc, liquid-cooled, single cylinder engine producing 25.5PS at 9,250rpm and 20.4Nm at 7,250rpm. The bike could get a bigger rear sprocket or a different engine mapping, making it more apt for off-roading.  The suspension setup consists of a telescopic fork and a monoshock. Compared to the current XPulse 200 4V, the upcoming ADV gets a taller fuel tank. It also gets a box-section swingarm, spoke wheels (most likely to be a 21-inch front and 19-inch rear), LED headlight, taller windscreen, an LCD instrument console, single-piece seat and tail rack. The exhaust looks more upswept than the one on the XPulse 200 4V.

The upcoming XPulse 210 disc brake sizes look similar to the current bike’s 276mm front and 220mm rear setup. The ADV is expected to be launched by early 2025 and the price tag is expected to be about Rs 1.9 lakh (ex-showroom).
