A limited ‘Dhoni Edition’ has been launched for the Citroen C3 Aircross. The French carmaker has introduced the C3 Aircross Dhoni Edition  from Rs 11.82 lakh (ex-showroom) and only 100 units of it will be on sale. The limited edition of the SUV features cosmetic upgrades and no changes have been made mechanically. 

The ‘Dhoni Edition’ has already reached dealerships, and you can check it out at your nearest dealership. For now, only the starting price of the C3 Aircross Dhoni Edition has been given, but we expect it to be available in multiple variants. 

The customers get a chance to win assured Dhoni merchandise, while one of the 100 customers will get gloves signed by the legendary cricketer himself.

C3 Aircross Dhoni Edition Exterior

The ‘Dhoni Edition’ of the C3 Aircross sports cosmetic changes for the exterior, including the number “7” decals added to the bonnet, rear door and the tailgate in a stripped design. The front door and the tailgate feature ‘Dhoni Edition’ decals. Barring the minor cosmetic updates, the remaining design remains unchanged. 

C3 Aircross Dhoni Edition Interior 

The interior features the same dashboard design and layout as before. However, to remind you that you are sitting in a limited edition, it comes with bespoke black and white seat covers with orange and blue highlights along with the number “7” and the legendary cricketer’s signature embroidered on the front seats. Dhoni edition themed cushions and seat belts are also offered with the special edition. 

Another key addition it gets with the Dhoni Edition is the illuminated door sills and a dash camera, the latter is an important safety addition to it. 

C3 Aircross Dhoni Edition Features

The list of features have been carried over from the standard C3 Aircross. The features list consists of a 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system which supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 7-inch digital driver’s display, manual AC, roof-mounted AC vents, steering-mounted audio controls, 6 speakers, a rear wiper and washer and a rear defogger. 

Safety is taken care of by dual front airbags, rear parking sensors, ABS with EBD, a tyre pressure monitor, hill start assist, and a reverse parking camera. It should be noted that Citroen India will soon update the C3 Aircross with six airbags as standard. 

C3 Aircross Dhoni Edition Powertrain 

The limited edition of the Citroen C3 Aircross will be powered by the same 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine which makes 110 PS and 205 Nm. The engine can be mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter unit. 

Price And Rivals 

For now, we only know that the Citroen C3 Aircross Dhoni Edition starts from Rs 11.82 lakh (ex-showroom) and we will be updating the article once we get more information. The standard C3 Aircross is priced from Rs 8.99 lakh to Rs 14.33 lakh (ex-showroom). It rivals the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Honda Elevate, Kia Seltos and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara.
