The 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC’s exterior design is more of subtle evolution than groundbreaking. But what takes things a notch up is its interior, which has been lifted off the C-Class. The cabin’s highlight is the massive 11.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system that gives it an opulent look. Check it out in our detailed unveiling story.
As we mentioned earlier, the 2023 GLC will come in its 300 and 220d guise. The petrol model utilises a 258PS/400Nm 2-litre unit, while the diesel model gets a 197PS/440Nm 2-litre motor. Both engines get mild-hybrid, all-wheel drive and 9-speed automatic transmission as standard.
The 2023 GLC will command a notable premium over the outgoing model that was priced from Rs 62 lakh (ex-showroom). It will renew its rivalry with the BMW X3, Audi Q5 and Volvo XC60.
