With already five launches in 2023, the carmaker plans to keep the steam rolling with three more launches this year

With five launches in 2023, it’s no doubt that luxury carmaker BMW has had one of an action-packed year already. But if you’re wanting more from the Bavarian carmaker, there’s good news for enthusiasts in you as the carmaker hasn’t put a full stop yet. Over the span of the year, we’ll be seeing not one, but at least three new BMWs making their way here. So without further ado, let’s see what those three cars are:

BMW M2 - May 2023

Up first will be the new generation BMW M2. This tiny, entry-level sports coupe comes packing with stonking (and controversial) looks and an upmarket cabin with the new i-Drive 8. But it’s the heart of the matter that counts, and the Bavarian carmaker has got it sorted there. A beefy 3-litre, twin-turbo, six-cylinder engine producing 460PS, paired with rear-wheel drive and an optional six-speed stick shifter. What more do you need?

Facelifted BMW Z4 - May 2023

Fancy a drop-top, wind-in-the-hair motoring experience from BMW? Well, we’d suggest you hold your horses for a bit as the Z4 will be facelifted, offering sharper and more aggressive looks and the latest tech onboard from the Bavarian carmaker. That said, the 3-litre, six-cylinder engine underneath the hood should be carried forward as is.

It’s not just bonkers performance cars BMW will be focussing on. For those who want luxury, there will be the facelifted X5. Minor design updates to keep things fresh, debut of the carmaker’s new i-Drive 8 infotainment system, and addition of mild-hybrid tech as standard are some of the prime updates. Later down the line, you can expect the full fat X5 M facelift to make its way here as well.

It’s not just BMW who’s enjoying an action-packed 2023. Rival carmaker Mercedes-Benz has lined up no less than 10 cars for 2023 and you can read about it in this detailed report. Meanwhile, tell us which BMW you’re waiting for below in the comments section.
