Compared to the outgoing model, prices for the facelifted Seltos haven’t creeped up significantly, however, its top-spec price is now touching the Rs 20 lakh mark.
With this facelift, the Seltos got some revisions to its overall exterior styling, making it look fresher and bolder in the process. It gets revised bumpers, revised LED headlights and new connected LED taillights at the rear. You can take a closer look at it in our in-depth image gallery to see what all is new.
It also gets revisions to its cabin, with the dual 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and 10.25-inch fully digital driver’s display housed on the same bezel. The middle AC vents are sleeker and you also get multiple new cabin theme options – black and tan – alongside the already present all-black and black / beige options. Check out its variant-wise interior colour schemes here.
The Kia Seltos had made a name for itself for being one of the most feature laden offerings and the facelift builds on that narrative even further with new features like dual-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof and most importantly, ADAS technology. It retains equipment like the Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a heads-up display, ambient lighting, a wireless phone charger, connected car tech, and ventilated front seats from the outgoing model. There’s a lot to digest, but we’ve made things easier by jotting down the variant-wise features of the facelifted Seltos.

Its safety kit comprises an electronic parking brake with auto hold, six airbags, ABS with EBD, front and rear parking sensors, electronic stability control, and a tyre pressure monitoring system.
There is a new entry in the powertrain section as well, with a new 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine replacing the outgoing model’s 1.4-litre turbo petrol unit. Here’s a table detailing all its powertrain options and their corresponding specifications:
1.5-litre Turbo-petrol (new) |
1.5-litre Diesel |

With introductory prices juggling between Rs 10.89 lakh and Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom), the facelifted Seltos is the most expensive offering amongst its peers. However, with all its changes and feature additions, it now makes a stronger case for itself against the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, VW Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, and the upcoming Honda Elevate and Citroen C3 Aircross.
