It gets a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine (110 PS), a 1.2-litre T-GDI turbo petrol engine (130 PS) and a 1.5-litre diesel engine (117 PS). Notably, the 6-speed manual transmission is available across all the engine options, while automatic options include a 6-speed torque converter for the petrol engines and a 6-speed AMT with the diesel engine.

MG launched its compact SUV, the Astor, in 2021 with a virtual AI assistant. Along with the panoramic sunroof, it features a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with connectivity for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 7-inch digital driver’s display, wireless phone charger, ventilated front seats and a 6-way power adjustable driver’s seat.
