Quick News Highlights:

- A more affordable version of the Vida V1 could be one of them
- The other models could be the XPulse 210, XPulse 400 and the Xtreme 210R
Hero MotoCorp has shared a teaser on its social media handle, announcing that it will reveal four new models at EICMA on November 5, 2024.
The upcoming Hero models we expect to be revealed at EICMA 2024 are the XPulse 210, XPulse 400, Xtreme 210R and a more affordable version of the Vida V1 electric scooter. Back in May 2024, in an earnings call, the manufacturer revealed that it is working on a cost reduction roadmap to better prepare for when the current subsidies on electric vehicles end. So, it is highly likely that the EV maker has been developing a more affordable version of the Vida V1 Pro (priced under Rs 1 lakh) for some time now and it is expected to be revealed at this year’s EICMA.
A patent image of the upcoming Hero Xtreme 210R was leaked recently and it gets a muscular streetfighter design language. The LED headlight along with the indicators look quite sleek and the bike has a single-piece handlebar. The split-seat setup, tail section, exhaust and the fuel tank’s design are similar to that of the Hero Karizma XMR. It will most likely be powered by the Karizma’s 210cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 25.5PS at 9,250rpm and 20.4Nm at 7,250rpm. The bike is expected to be launched sometime in 2025 with a price tag of about Rs 1.7 lakh (ex-showroom).
About a week ago, Hero MotoCorp teased the XPulse 210, with an image focusing on its LED headlight. As seen from previous spy shots, the next-gen ADV will get a taller fuel tank, taller windscreen and a more upswept exhaust system compared to the XPulse 200 4V. The bike will be powered by the Karizma XMR’s liquid-cooled engine but could get a different rear sprocket to better suit the ADV’s character. It is expected to be launched by early 2025 and will likely be priced around the Rs 1.9 lakh (ex-showroom) mark.
The XPulse 400 will be powered by the Mavrick 440’s 440cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 27PS at 6,000rpm and 36Nm at 4,000rpm but with a different sprocket setup for a better low-end grunt. The bike could also be quite touring friendly as it was spotted with hard panniers in the recent spy shots. The ADV is expected to be launched by mid-2025 and could get a price tag of about Rs 2.4 lakh (ex-showroom).
