The 2024 Vantage, which makes its India debut, not only sports a refreshed design but also comes with a more powerful twin-turbo V8 under the hood

Following its price announcement in April this year, the 2024 Aston Martin Vantage has now landed on our shores. With design elements inspired by the iconic One-77 supercar and an interior that echoes the more powerful DB12, this latest Vantage is more than just a pretty set of clothes.  It now uses a more powerful twin-turbo V8 engine under the hood and can sprint from nought to 100 kmph in a whopping 3.4 seconds! Let’s explore five standout things that make the 2024 Vantage special.

One-77 Inspired Fascia

The 2024 Vantage draws its design inspiration from the One-77 supercar, which is very much evident from its fascia. It features a prominent metal grille that is 38 percent larger, boosting airflow by 29 percent and improving cooling efficiency. But with these technical numbers aside, it dominates the face and gives it a mean look. Additionally, two more air intakes have been placed on either side of the bumper. Other changes include new swept back Matrix LED headlights with LED DRLs, with new lighting signature.

From the side, the Vantage gets a sleek looking profile like a typical Aston Martin, and what further adds to its appeal are 21-inch forged alloy wheels. The wheel arches have been widened to give it a beefy look and this new Vantage also features flush-type door handles along with frameless doors. At the rear, the Vantage stands out with slim, curved tail lights that span the full width of the car, while its quad exhaust setup gives it a bold and dramatic appeal.

The sleekness has been maintained inside the cabin of the new Aston Martin Vantage as well, which has been made of plenty of squidgy soft touch materials. The interior layout echoes the DB12's design, featuring streamlined AC vents and sport seats. The infotainment system is positioned just below the AC vents, with physical buttons (thanks Aston for making our life easier) placed on the lower part of the centre console.

This particular examples seats are upholstered in black haircell and alcantara leather, and all-black interior theme enhances the car’s sporty feel. But do mind that you can customise each and every bit of the car both on the outside and inside, provided you’re ready to shell out for its expensive list of options.

Long List Of Features

The 2024 Vantage comes with a comprehensive feature list. The list of amenities include a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display and connected car technology, a 1170W 15-speaker Bower & Wilkins sound system,  8-way powered heated seats, and dual-zone AC.

Passenger safety is taken care of by multiple airbags, electronic stability control, electric parking brake, and a full suite of ADAS features.

More Powerful V8 Under The Hood

What powers the 2024 Aston Martin Vantage is the 4-litre V8 twin-turbo petrol engine which churns out 665 PS and 800 Nm. That is a massive 155 PS more power and 115 Nm more torque compared to its predecessor. This power is transmitted to rear wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission from ZF. With this setup, the Vantage can sprint from 0-100 kmph in just 3.4 seconds, while the top-speed is electrically limited at 325 kmph.

Reworked Chassis For Better Dynamics

The new Vantage is built on an advanced bonded aluminium structure, achieving a perfect 50:50 weight distribution for razor sharp handling. The suspension has been reworked to provide 29 percent more stiffness, while components such as adaptive dampers and an electronic rear differential ensure a more agile driving experience.

The Vantage is fitted with cast-iron disc brakes as standard, but you can opt for carbon ceramic brakes as option. These brakes not only reduce brake fade at temperatures of up to 800 degree celsius, but also cut the overall unsprung mass by 27 kg, which in turn also improves the steering response.

Price & Rivals

In India, the 2024 Aston Martin Vantage is priced at Rs 3.99 crore (ex-showroom). It competes with the McLaren GT and Ferrari Roma
