Tata Motors displayed the CNG versions of the Altroz and Punch as well as the sportier Altroz Racer at the Auto Expo 2023. And apart from the obvious powertrain change, both models were packing some welcome additions. We expect Tata Motors to roll-out these features soon, so without further ado, here are the new features both cars will get:

While both models will get important additions in the form of six airbags and a single-pane sunroof, it’s the Altroz that will get more niceties. These include the addition of a much slicker 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, ventilated front seats, a seven-inch digital driver’s display (with a more soothing layout and no analogue speedo), air purifier and a wireless phone charger.
Both models will be gaining additional variants too, for instance, the Altroz and Punch CNG will arrive, about which you can read here. Plus, the Altroz Racer’s launch has been confirmed and it will be a formidable alternative to the Hyundai i20 N Line.
All of these upgrades also mean a price increase can be expected when these features are rolled out. Currently, the Altroz is priced from Rs 6.35 lakh , while the Punch starts from Rs 6 lakh (prices are ex-showroom).
