TVS has been fairly active this year with multiple launches of scooters and bikes and updates of pre-existing models to maintain relevance with appropriate features. 2023 seems to be the same for the auto manufacturer as there are a bunch of vehicles in the lineup that might launch soon. Here’s all that could debut this year.
Remember when the updated iQube, along with the S variant, was launched in 2022? Well, TVS was also supposed to launch the top-spec ST variant then. However, after much delay, the most feature-packed trim of the electric scooter should debut sometime this year. Want to know what’s different in this model as compared to the standard and S variants? Check out our story here. It could likely launch in January 2023 with a sticker price of Rs 1.20 lakh (ex-showroom).
If the sun and the stars agree, then we might finally see the RR 310-based naked bike, the Apache RTR 310, launch this year. The Apache RTR series is a hit, especially the 200 4V, so imagine a streetfighter based on the sweet RR 310. Sounds appetising, doesn’t it? Well, we hope to see TVS turn this into a reality in 2023. It is likely to be Rs 20,000 less expensive than the Apache RR 310 and could launch towards the end of 2023.
TVS’ flagship motorcycle received a BTO update in 2021, and that was quite a lovely one, no doubt. However, for 2023, we expect the bikemaker to update its beloved supersport, and fingers crossed, we hope it is the RP (race-spec) model. With an expected price tag of Rs 3 lakh ex-showroom, this supersport could debut in December 2023. If TVS indeed comes up with one, it will be the closest bike to the iconic OMC ARRC race-spec bike.
The sportiest 125cc scooter in India, NTorq 125, gets a number of frequent updates. It got several updates over the year, and in 2023, the trend could continue with possibly the new Marvel Edition liveries. And we can’t wait to see what TVS comes up with for its beloved scooter. It is likely to launch in the festive season with the same price as the existing Marvel Edition.
The TVS Jupiter 125 ticked most of the boxes except a few, so it is possible that TVS might make the scooter even more wholesome this year. Updates could include an LCD console and turn-by-turn navigation. Sound good? The 125cc workhorse is likely to get that and much more. With a mid-2023 launch, the updated model could be Rs 5000 more expensive.
