Here’s What Awaits You At India Bike Week 2022

We’re less than a month away from the India Bike Week 2022, which is returning to Goa this year. With Petronas Sprinta as its partner, IBW 2022 promises to offer the moto-culture experience in a grand manner. Here’s what’s in store for you on December 2 and 3:

Races and Rides

This year, there is a race track for every other kind of rider and motorcycle – Flat Track, Dirt Dash, Hill Climb and Mud Rush. There are also trainers available to help hone skills. While Nilesh Dhumal a.k.a. Nelly from ProDirt Adventure (Pune), Motofarm (Bengaluru) & FMAE Motopark (Hyderabad) will coach motocross and dirt enthusiasts, Vishakh from BAR Academy will conduct hour-long enduro sessions.

Tents and People

The Ladakh Tent is a corner for conversations with biker clubs, cafes and people from the community. Personalities like Murtaza Junaid (traveller), Yogi Chabaria (from YC Designs), Marco Rosetto (founder, MiniGP India) and Shardul Sharma (India’s first participant in Red Bull Romaniacs) will also be sharing their stories, experiences & passion for riding at various sessions. Additionally, expect to see superbike collections along with a modified bikes display.

Music and Food

The music lineup consists of Red Bull’s freestyle performers like rappers, MCs, BMX stunters and break dancers, in addition to an artist line-up of Lagori and Teri Miko as headline acts, and Easy Wanderlings, DJ Mojo Jo Jo, DJ Unnayaana, Uday Benegal and DJ Ayesha Pramanik following suit.

This year’s special attraction is ‘The Big Forkers Meat Fest’, a section dedicated to the art of curing, grilling, smoking and barbecuing meats in India, featuring Chef Aal (Nagaland), Chef Arjun Sikdar (Goa) Chef Geoff (Canada), Chef O'neal (Kochi) and Chef Chris (Goa).

In addition to the above, motorcycle brands such as KTM, BMW Motorrad and Harley-Davidson have confirmed their participation in this festival, so brace yourself for some excitement.
