Here’s How Much Power The Citroen C3 Aircross Makes

Citroen India has divulged the technical details of its upcoming SUV, the C3 Aircross. It’s a three-row compact SUV that will go up against the likes of the Hyundai Creta and 2023 Kia Seltos facelift. Bookings are set to commence in September, while the French marque will start delivering the C3 Aircross in October. 

Citroen C3 Aircross: Engine Specifications

The Citroen C3 Aircross gets the same 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine from the C3 hatchback. Rated at 110PS and 190Nm, its power output is identical to that of the hatchback. Drive is sent to the front wheels via a 6-speed stick shifter. There is no automatic option offered at the moment. 

And in terms of kitna deti hai, the C3 Aircross returns 18.5kmpl, which is 0.8kmpl less than the C3 Turbo. It gets idle stop/start, a feature that helps marginally improve its fuel efficiency in city traffic. 

Citroen C3 Aircross: Features Onboard

The C3 Aircross packs all the essential features, including a digital driver’s display, a 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, manual AC, steering-mounted audio controls and keyless entry. Safety is taken care of by multiple airbags, electronic stability control, rear parking sensors with camera and tyre pressure monitoring. 

Citroen C3 Aircross: Expected Launch And Price

Prices of the Citroen C3 Aircross are expected to be out in the coming weeks. And we suspect it could start from around Rs 9 lakh (ex-showroom). It goes up against the Hyundai Creta, 2023 Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara as well as 3-row offerings such as the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and XL6.
