Here’s What We Expect From Royal Enfield In 2023

Royal Enfield treated us to some exciting motorcycles in 2022, like the Scram 411 and Hunter 350, while also draping the Himalayan in new colourways. The Chennai-based bikemaker has also been testing a whole range of motorcycles that will soon be making its way to India. So let's dive into the list of Royal Enfield bikes that are expected to be launched in India in 2023. 

Super Meteor 650

The long-awaited Super Meteor 650 was finally unveiled at EICMA 2022 and it even was showcased at the Royal Enfield Rider Mania in Goa. This bike marks the entry of the classic British-style roadster maker into the foreign world of American-style cruisers.

2023 Bullet 350

The current Bullet 350 is the sole surviving member of Royal Enfield’s old-school UCE engine, and multiple spy shots indicate that this icon looks eager to join the modern J-series bandwagon. 

The 2023 Bullet 350 is expected to be launched in February at a price of about Rs 1.80 lakh (ex-showroom).

Himalayan 450

A liquid cooled 450cc Royal Enfield adventure bike, you like the sound of that right? Well, Siddhratha Lal, Managing Director of Royal Enfield, himself teased this upcoming bike on his social media handle. 

The Himalayan 450 LC has even been spotted on test numerous times, and we expect this bike to be launched in June 2023 with a price tag of Rs 2.80 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi.

Shotgun 650

The Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 was first unveiled at the 2021 EICMA show in Milan as a concept. While the concept showcased was a bobber, countless spy shots indicate that it does come with twin split seats.

This bike will likely be launched by October 2023, with a price tag of around Rs 3.25 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi. 

Continental GT-R 650

Royal Enfield looks to be working on a street-legal version of its Continental GT-R 650 cup race bike, based on a spy shot that surfaced on the internet. This bike sports a monza fairing, along with lowered clip-on bars and adjustable twin rear shocks compared to the Continental GT 650. 

Wouldn’t this make for a nice retro racer addition to the garage? Well, if you’re looking to get this bike home, then expect this bike to be launched towards the latter half of 2023 and priced around Rs 3.30 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

New Colourways To Existing Models

While there are quite a handful of upcoming Royal Enfield bikes for 2023, the company might even update existing models with new shades to spice up their appeal. Like the Himalayan got some new colours added a couple of months ago, expect almost all the bikes on the current lineup to follow suit.
