It has been confirmed by Audi India that the facelifted version of the RS Q8 will be launched on February 17, 2025. The Q8’s top-spec and sportiest version is Audi’s fastest ICE-powered SUV, and credit for that can be given to its mighty V8 engine which it shares with the Lamborghini Urus. Here’s what the facelifted Audi Q8 brings to the table:
While the overall design language of the facelifted iteration remains the same, there are subtle changes that the facelift brings in. It gets a new blacked-out grille with the familiar honeycomb pattern. The LED headlights have also been darkened and you get sleek LED DRL.
The 22-inch alloy wheels are offered as standard and they too are blacked-out for a sporty appeal. Adding to the sporty nature, you get contrasting red brake callipers as well. For the first time, the RS Q8 gets OLED tail lights. The rear diffuser treatment along with the spoiler and shark fin antenna complements the athletic nature of the SUV.
As you would expect from an Audi, the interior is premium and since it's an RS, it has sporty elements to it as well. You get 2 massive screens, one for the infotainment and one for the driver’s display. You can also opt for the sports seats which add more support, especially when you drive the SUV aggressively. Plenty of gloss black elements add a premium appeal, while Alcantara finishes on the steering wheel, gear knob and door panels add to the sporty quotient.
It has features such as connected car tech, a wireless phone charger, a four-zone climate control, ambient lighting, a panoramic sunroof, a powered tailgate, powered front seats and much more!
The RS Q8 is propelled by the mighty 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 petrol engine that develops a whopping 640 PS and 850 Nm. These figures are produced by the top-spec Performance version. Using Audi’s Quattro all-wheel drive system power is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission. The RS Q8 does 0-100 kmph in just 3.6 seconds! Audi’s adaptive air suspension and active roll stabilization further provide the perfect mix of comfort and sportiness.
The Audi RS Q8 facelift is expected to be priced just over Rs 2 crore (ex-showroom). It is a more affordable alternative to the likes of the Lamborghini Urus, and Aston Martin DBX.
The RS Q8 facelift will bring minimal changes to the big and mighty German SUV. Are you excited for this one? Let us know in the comments below!
