Here’s When You Can Bring Home Your 2024 Kia Sonet Facelift

• Bookings to commence from December 20, 2023. 
• K-Code window opens from December 20 at midnight, for priority delivery.
• 2024 Sonet facelift deliveries will start from January 2024, except for the diesel-manual variants, which will commence from February 2024.
• Diesel-manual gearbox makes a comeback alongside existing powertrain options.

Planning to bring home the 2024 Kia Sonet facelift? The deliveries of the sub-4m SUV will commence from January 2024 for all except the diesel-manual variants which will be available from February 2024. The Korean carmaker also announced that bookings for the new Sonet will start from, interestingly, December 20 midnight. Interested customers can book the car online, or at their nearest Kia dealership. 

Besides, Kia also revealed details of the K-Code bookings, which will allow priority delivery allocations of the new Sonet. K-Codes are available from existing Kia customers which can be used by themselves or transferred to their friends or family, which can then be used on the official website or the MyKia app. That said, K-Code bookings will only be possible on December 20, 2023, from midnight to 11:59 pm. 

What do we know about the Sonet Facelift so far?

The exteriors now come with a refreshed front and rear, along with new alloys to freshen up the design. On the inside, the new Sonet continues with the existing dashboard, save for a new climate control panel along with an updated interior palette with new colours. 

New features will include ADAS tech and a 360-degree camera, while the powertrain options will continue with the existing set of engines and transmissions, save for the comeback of the diesel manual option on certain variants. For more details on the Sonet facelift, read our unveiling story here.

Launch, price and competition of the 2024 Kia Sonet 

The outgoing model had a starting price of Rs 7.79 lakh (ex-showroom). Hence, we can expect the new Sonet to get a slight bump in this due to the extra features. In terms of rivals, the 2024 Sonet will take on the likes of the Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Mahindra XUV300, and Nissan Magnite.
