Here’s Your First Official Look At The Hyundai Alcazar Facelift’s Exterior

• The 2024 Alcazar gets a new Robust Emerald Matte exterior shade.

• Will be offered in four variants: Executive, Prestige, Platinum and Signature. 

• Exterior changes include redesigned fascia, new alloy wheels, and connected LED tail lights.

• Interior hasn’t been revealed yet, but the layout is expected to be similar to the facelifted Creta.

• Expected to get additional features like dual-zone AC and multi-colour ambient lighting.

• Features like dual 10.25-inch screens, ventilated front seats, and a panoramic sunroof will be retained.

• Its safety kit will also include level 2 ADAS. 

• To use the same 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engine as its outgoing version.

After a series of spy shots on the internet, Hyundai has shown us what the Alcazar facelift looks like, revealing its exterior design. The automaker has also started accepting orders for the updated Alcazar for a token amount of Rs 25,000. The 2024 Hyundai Alcazar will be offered in four broad variants: Executive, Prestige, Platinum and Signature. It is set to be launched on September 9, 2024.

Design Changes

The Hyundai Alcazar facelift features a completely new fascia, including all-new H-shaped DRLs connected by an LED strip, new LED headlights borrowed from the recently facelifted Creta, and a restyled bumper with a large air dam surrounded by a chunky silver skid plate There’s also a radar module in the centre of the front bumper, which indicates that the Alcazar facelift will get advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) features as well.

Moving along the side, the all new 18-inch alloy wheels is one of the major updates. Unlike before, the cladding around the wheel arches seems to have a gloss black finish. It continues to get silver roof rails which enhances its rugged appeal and below the doors, there is a new silver skid plate as well. Talking about the rear, it gets newly designed connected LED tail lights and restyled rear bumper, while the design of the integrated roof spoiler has also been tweaked.

The Alcazar shown in the image wears a Robust Emerald Matte exterior shade, which appears very much similar to the Creta’s Robust Emerald Pearl exterior colour. With these design updates, Hyundai has managed to differentiate the look of the Alcazar and its donor car, the Creta.

Interior & Features

Although Hyundai has yet to reveal the interior of the 2024 Alcazar, we expect it to be similar to that of the 2024 Hyundai Creta. However, the facelifted Alcazar will feature a different interior colour scheme for a unique appeal. The 2024 Alcazar will continue to be offered in both 7- and 6-seater configurations.

The outgoing Alcazar already gets dual 10.25-inch screens (one for the infotainment and other for the driver’s display), but in the facelift they will likely be integrated together just as we have seen with the Creta. Features like ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charging, power adjustable driver’s seat will be carried from the existing Alcazar. However, its facelifted version is expected to come with additional features like dual-zone AC and multi-colour ambient lighting. 

The Alcazar’s safety kit already includes 6 airbags (as standard), electronic stability control (ESC), and a 360-degree camera. With the facelift, the safety will be further enhanced by the level 2 ADAS.

Same Powertrain Options 

Hyundai has confirmed that the 2024 Alcazar will get the same 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and diesel engine options as before. The specifications are as follows:

2024 Alcazar: Expected Price And Rivals

The Hyundai Alcazar facelift is expected to be priced from Rs 17 lakh (ex-showroom). It will continue to take on the Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus, and 6/7-seater variants of the Mahindra XUV700.
