Hero MotoCorp is coming to the Auto Expo 2025 and is expected to launch and unveil many promising bikes, scooters, and even electric vehicles at the event. This time, the Auto Expo will be held under the banner of 2025 Bharat Mobility Expo. It will be organised from January 17 to January 22, 2025, at the Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.
Here are all the Hero bikes and scooters we expect to be showcased at the Auto Expo 2025:
The Hero XPulse 210 was revealed at the EICMA 2024 in Italy. We expect Hero to showcase the bike at the Auto Expo as well. The new Hero XPulse 210 comes with a few design tweaks including a taller windscreen, different seat, new graphics and more. It is powered by the same 210cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine which is found in the Karizma XMR. This 210cc engine produces a peak output of 24.8PS and 20.7Nm. It is likely to get a TFT instrument console and longer travel suspensions as compared to the XPulse 200 4V.
The Hero Xtreme 250R was also revealed at the EICMA 2024 and has been spied recently. It is likely to be showcased at the Auto Expo as well. The Xtreme 250R comes with an aggressive streetfighter design and will be equipped with Hero’s new 250cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine delivering 30PS and 25Nm. It has an inverted fork and a 6-step adjustable monoshock. The bike gets disc brakes on both ends with switchable ABS, all-LED lighting, and a TFT console. It even has a lap timer and a drag timer.
The Hero Karizma XMR 250 was also unveiled at the EICMA and is expected to make its India debut at the Auto Expo. It gets the same 250cc engine as the Xtreme 250R, which makes 30PS and 25Nm. Even the underpinnings and features are the same as its naked sibling.
The launch of Hero Xoom 125R is long due and we expect the manufacturer to finally bring the scooter to the market in 2025. It comes with a sporty design and sharp looks. It is likely to be powered by the same 124.6cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine from the Hero Destini 125, which produces 9.12PS and 10.4Nm. However, expect the engine to be tuned differently to suit the sporty scooter and its characteristics.
Hero has kept us waiting too long for the Xoom 160 maxi-scooter, which is likely to make its debut in India and be showcased at the Auto Expo. The maxi-scooter was recently spied recently and comes with a proper maxi-scooter design, a tall windscreen, chunkier wheels and a long single-piece seat. The Hero Xoom 160 will be powered by a 156cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that makes around 15PS and 15Nm, paired with a CVT gearbox.
Another EICMA unveil, the Vida Z electric scooter might also be showcased at the Auto Expo 2025. The Vida Z is a family e-scooter with practical and minimalistic looks. It is equipped with a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) and has a removable battery pack. While we don’t have the exact details of the battery pack, Hero says that the Vida Z could be offered with multiple options ranging from 2.2kWh to 4.4kWh. The electric scooter gets a touchscreen TFT instrument console with smartphone connectivity providing navigation, geofencing anti-theft features and more.
Hero MotoCorp may also showcase the XPulse 421 concept at the Auto Expo. The new Hero XPulse 421, unlike the other XPulses, will be an ADV. It has a rally-bike inspired design, which is an influence from the Hero Dakar bike. We expect the XPulse 421 to be equipped with a new 421cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that could deliver around 40PS to 45PS of output with a strong low and mid-range torque.
