These colour options are also available for the Splendor Plus i3S Drum Brake. The Force Silver colour option gets black alloy wheels and blacked-out engine components while the rest of the variants get silver-coloured alloy wheels and the engine components get a lighter coloured finish.
Except for the Splendor Plus Drum Brake variant, the rest of the variants get Hero’s i3S idle start-stop technology. If the bike is idling for more than a few seconds (say at a traffic signal), the i3S technology shuts down the engine and it can be turned back on by just pulling in the clutch lever. This technology is aimed at improving the bike’s mileage.
Except for the Hero logo and the Splendor Plus and i3S badging on the side panels, the Splendor Plus i3S Drum Brake Black & Accent get a completely blacked-out treatment all over. There are no graphics on the bike at all.

The Splendor Plus i3S Matt Axis Grey gets a matte finish paint job with a stripe across the headlight cowl, special graphics on the fuel tank and “01” numbering on the side panels similar to that of a racing bike. Also, it gets a regular single-piece alloy grab rail instead of the steel tube grab rail with an attached luggage rack in the rest of the variants.
All the variants are powered by the same 97.2cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 8.02PS and 8.05Nm and comes mated to a 4-speed gearbox. Suspension setup consists of a telescopic fork and 5-step preload adjustable twin shock absorbers. Braking duties are taken care of by 130mm drum brakes at both ends with CBS (Combined Braking System) as standard. They get a twin-pod analogue instrument console that shows speedometer, odometer, side-stand indicator, fuel gauge and other regular readouts.
The Hero Splendor Plus Xtec 2.0 is based on the Splendor Plus and apart from the features and colour options, both bikes are identical. The recently launched Splendor Plus Xtec 2.0 is priced at Rs 82,911, while the Splendor Plus Xtec gets a price tag of Rs 79,911 (both prices ex-showroom, Delhi). The Splendor Plus Xtec gets 4 colour options: Black Sparkling Blue, Black Tornado Grey, Red Black and Pearl Fadeless White and the Xtec 2.0 model gets 3 colour options: Matte Grey, Gloss Black and Gloss Red.
The Splendor Plus Xtec 2.0 gets a new LED headlight with H-shaped DRLs, making it the only 100cc bike in India to get an LED headlight. It also gets hazard lights and new graphics. Compared to the Splendor Plus, the Xtec and the Xtec 2.0 gets a full-LCD instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity for call & SMS alerts and phone battery level status.
