(Update: Hero MotoCorp has launched the Xoom 110. Check out what it packs in our launch story.)
The Hero Maestro Xoom 110 is all set to be launched in India tomorrow. We first got a glimpse of Hero’s sporty 110cc in September last year.
The leaked images from the presentation then also revealed that the scooter will get the i3S (Idle Start Stop System) technology for better mileage. We also know that it’ll be getting 12-inch alloys at both ends and will even flaunt something Hero calls ‘Corner Bend Lamps,’ which we think could mean cornering lamps. That said, this feature doesn’t make sense on a 110cc scooter, so we’ll have to wait so see what it is about.
After getting to know its exact launch date this week, we even managed to get our hands on a homologation document that revealed many key details about the scooter’s specifications. Check out our exclusive story here.

Powering the scooter will likely be the same 110.9 cc engine as the Hero Maestro Edge 110. The power and torque outputs stay the same too, at 8.15PS and 8.75Nm. Hero is expected to launch the Maestro Xoom 110 at an estimated price tag of around Rs 75,000 (ex-showroom). That way, it’ll rival the likes of TVS Jupiter ZX SmartXonnect, Honda Dio and Honda Activa 6G H-Smart in the 110cc scooter segment.
