Honda CB500X Is Now Quite The Affordable ADV

As delightful as the Honda CB500X is, the biggest issue of the bike was its staggering price of Rs 6.87 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Thankfully, the mid-size ADV has now received a massive cut of Rs 1.08 lakh, now bearing a sticker price of Rs 5.79 lakh.

That said, please note that Honda has reduced the prices for the CB500X for a limited period. Hopefully, this will come as a breather for those who wanted the bike but were deterred by its cost.

The pricing makes more sense now, considering the ADV is definitely more premium than the KTM 390 Adventure -- whose 2022 iteration was spotted at dealerships -- and still remains slightly more affordable than the Kawasaki Versys 650.

Recently, Honda India set up a new engine manufacturing facility in Ahmedabad, dedicated to building fun, mid-size engines. The CB500X's 471cc twin definitely fits the bill.

Let's hope the latest price remains for some time, and even when it goes up, it doesn't become prohibitive for the majority.
