The Honda Shine 100 has completed its first anniversary and over this period sold more than 3 lakh units. To celebrate this milestone, Honda India is organising mega delivery camps in multiple cities.
The Honda Shine was launched back in March 2023 as the most affordable Honda bike, priced at Rs 64,900 (ex-showroom Delhi). The most interesting fact is that the price has remained unchanged since the launch. We also rode the Shine 100 and here’s what we think about the bike.
The Honda Shine is powered by a 100cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine producing 7.61PS and 8.05Nm. The bike is suspended on a telescopic fork and twin rear shock absorbers. Braking duties are handled by a 130mm front and 110mm rear drum, with a combined braking system for safety.
It primarily rivals the Hero Splendor Plus, Hero HF100, Hero HF Deluxe, and Bajaj Platina 100. Another alternative in the same price range is the TVS Radeon.
