Jeep Meridian Deliveries Underway For Early Bird Buyers

• Available in two trim levels, Limited and Limited (O)

• Offered with a single 170PS turbo diesel engine with an optional AWD system.

First deliveries of the newly launched Jeep Meridian are underway across dealerships. The three-row SUV went on sale last month, priced at Rs 29.90 lakh for the entry-level Limited trim level. The top-spec Limited (O) variant is available with an all-wheel-drive system (AWD), and costs upwards of Rs 32.40 lakh (all prices are ex-showroom). 

As standard, you get a three-row, seven seater layout in the Jeep Meridian – captain chairs can be optioned in the second row. All three rows get AC vents, and a panoramic sunroof keeps the cabin airy. 

The Jeep Meridian features a digital driver’s display, 10.1-inch UConnect infotainment screen, dual-zone climate control and a host of other premium features that you’d expect at this price point. 

It’s not short on performance capabilities, either. The standard powertrain is a 170PS 2-litre turbo diesel engine paired with a 6-speed manual or 9-speed automatic transmission. You can equip the top-spec Limited (O) AT variant with an AWD system, which gets Jeep’s Selec-Terrain terrain management system with different modes for snow, sand and mud. In addition, the Jeep Meridian has a frequency selective damping system which adjusts the rebound on the suspension dampers according to different road surface conditions.
