It took the Carens just 27 months to achieve this milestone.
50 percent buyers prefer the mid and top variants.
The Carens accounts for 15 percent of Kia’s monthly sales.
57 percent of the buyers opt for petrol variants.
62 percent of the buyers opt for the manual variants.
The Carens is currently Kia’s flagship model in the Indian market, with the Sonet and Seltos being the other two SUVs offered by Kia. The Carens was first launched in February 2022, providing a larger alternative to the Seltos, and with the option of 6 or 7 seats to choose from. Apart from the seating configurations, the Carens also brings in multiple engine and transmission options to choose from. To know more about the Carens, you can head over to our review.
The Korean car manufacturer has mentioned that half of the Carens’ sales come from the mid and top-spec variants, which get features like the sunroof, ventilated seats, and connected car tech features. In the top-spec X-Line variant, you also get a matte shade which brings in a ‘stealth’ factor.
The sales milestone is undoubtedly impressive, but it doesn't come as much of a surprise, keeping in mind that the Carens has always been a well-rounded package. Its unique styling might not cater to everyone's taste, but its features list and premium cabin will surely impress you.
