Prices for the Kia Sonet, Seltos and Carens have been hiked across its entire line-up.
Pricing for the base-spec variants of all three cars remains unchanged.
Diesel manual variants of Sonet get the maximum price hike of up to Rs 27,000, and are now priced from Rs 8 lakh to Rs 15.77 lakh (ex-showroom).
Kia Seltos get a maximum price hike of Rs 19,000, and the variants are now priced from Rs 10.90 lakh and Rs 20.37 lakh (ex-showroom).
Kia Carens gets a maximum price hike of Rs 27,000, and is priced from Rs 10.52 lakh and Rs 19.94 lakh (ex-showroom).
Kia India has increased the pricing for its entire line-up of made-in India cars including the Sonet subcompact SUV, Seltas Compact SUV and the Carens MPV. The price revision comes in just ahead of Sonet’s and Seltos’ new mid-spec GTX variant’s launch. Prices have been revised for its entire line-up and here’s a variant wise detailed price list of all the Kia cars:
The Kia Sonet gets a naturally aspirated 1.2-litre petrol engine mated to a 5-speed manual transmission producing 83 PS and 115 Nm.

The base-spec HTE variant’s pricing remains unchanged, while the HTE (O) gets a Rs 10,000 increment. The mid-spec HTK variant gets expensive by Rs 11,000 and the top-spec HTK and HTK Plus variants get Rs 12,000 increment.
The Kia Sonet’s second engine option is a 1-litre turbo-petrol engine which produces 120 PS and 172 Nm. It is offered with the option of a 6-speed iMT (clutchless manual) and a 7-speed DCT (dual-clutch automatic transmission). Here are its revised variant wise price hike:

The HTK variant gets no price hike and remains stagnant at Rs 9.60 lakh (ex-showroom). The HTK Plus variant gets a price increment of Rs 16,000, the HTX gets expensive by Rs 13,000 and the HTX variant gets a hike of Rs 10,000.
As for the turbo-petrol automatic powertrain, the HTX variant with the 7-speed DCT transmission gets a price hike of Rs 13,000. The newly launched GTX trim has been introduced at a price of Rs 13.71 lakh (ex-showroom). The GTX Plus variant is now Rs 16.000 more expensive than before and for the X-Line variant, it gets a hike of Rs 17,000.
The third engine option offered in the Kia Sonet, is a 1.5-litre turbo-diesel unit producing 116 PS and 250 Nm. It can be opted in three transmission options including a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed iMT (automated manual) and a 6-speed automatic transmission. Here are the variant-wise revised pricing:

Notably, there has been no price revision for the entry level HTE, HTE (O) and HTK variants, and so the prices remain unchanged. The HTK (O) variant gets the least price hike of Rs 3000. The HTK Plus variant gets Rs 17,000 more expensive than before and the highest price increment is seen for the HTX variant which has now gotten Rs 27,000 more expensive than before. The HTX Plus variant however does not get any price change.
The HTX variant of the automatic transmission diesel powertrain gets a price hike of Rs 17,000 with the new GTX trim launched at Rs 14.56 lakh (ex-showroom). The GTX Plus trim gets a Rs 11,000 increment while the X-Line gets a marginal Rs 2000 increment.
The iMT variants of the diesel powertrain also see a price increment of about Rs 15,000 for the HTX variant and Rs 10,000 for the HTX Plus variant.
The Kia Seltos is offered with a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 115 PS and 144 Nm. This engine can be paired with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a CVT automatic transmission.

Notably, the base-spec HTE, HTK Plus and HTK Plus CVT variant’s prices remain unchanged. The HTK Plus variant now gets Rs 5000 more expensive while the top-spec HTX and HTX CVT variants get a Rs 15,000 price hike.
Kia offers the 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine in the Seltos which produces 160 PS and 253 Nm, and can be had with the option of a 6-speed iMT (clutchless manual) transmission and a 7-speed DCT (dual-clutch automatic transmission).

The only price increment for the turbo-petrol line-up of the Kia Seltos can be seen for the HTK Plus variant with the iMT transmission, which now gets Rs 17,000 more expensive than before. All the other variants prices remain unchanged, with the entry of the GTX DCT variant introduced at Rs 19 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Kia Seltos also gets a 1.5-litre turbo diesel unit which produces 116 PS and 250 Nm and can be had with the option of a 6-speed manual, 6-speed iMT and a 6-speed automatic transmission.

It is evident from the table above that the maximum price hike has been made for the diesel powertrain models with the HTE and HTX Plus variants getting Rs 6000 more expensive. The HTK variant gets hiked by Rs 12,000. The HTX iMT variant gets the maximum price increment of Rs 19,000 followed by the HTX AT variant with a price hike of Rs 17,000. The X-Line AT variant gets the least hike of Rs 2000.

The base-spec Premium variant undergoes no price change and remains the same as before. The Premium (O) variant now gets a hike of Rs 14,000 and all the above variants get an increment of Rs 15,000.

The Premium (O) variant gets a hike of Rs 14,000, Prestige Plus iMT gets a hike of Rs 18,000 and the Prestige Plus (O) DCT variant gets Rs 19,000 more expensive than before. A price-hike of Rs 22,000 for the Kia Carens is seen in its Luxury Plus DCT, and X-Line DCT (both 6 and 7 seater) variants.
The third powertrain option for the Kia Carens is the 1.5-litre diesel engine producing 116 PS and 250 Nm, which can be mated to either a 6-speed manual, 6-speed iMT and a 6-speed AT transmission options.
