As the new year is upon us, carmakers and two-wheeler manufacturers eye on India's largest automotive show, Bharat Mobility Expo. The show has been announced and will be held in New Delhi between 17 and 22 January, 2025. The country's biggest automotive event will witness participation from as many as 13 automakers, including Indian carmakers, and here are more details about the event.
It is to be noted that 2025 Bharat Mobility Expo will be organised at 3 different venues, such as Bharatmandapam (Pragati Maidan), Yashobhoomi (Dwarka), and India Expo Centre & Mart (Greater Noida). All these venues will host different sorts of exhibits, while the venue at Pragati Maidan will be the one boasting the car showcases.
Apart from the car or two-wheeler showcases, visitors can also expect to see various automotive component manufacturers, tyre brands, electric vehicle (EV) solutions providers, and automotive tech companies. Here is a list of the carmakers coming to Bharat Mobility Expo 2025.
In terms of mass market automakers, there will be 8 brands showcasing their offerings. These names will include Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata Motors, Vinfast Auto India, Isuzu Motors India, Skoda, Vayve Mobility, Mahindra, Kia, Toyota, BYD, and MG Motor India. On the other hand, a few high-end luxury marques will also be present, such as Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Lexus.
Having said that, other automakers, namely Volkswagen, Ferrari, Audi, Renault, Lamborghini, Nissan, Citroen, Jaguar Land Rover, Volvo, Jeep, Honda, and Force Motors will not be participating in the expo.
While the list of carmakers have been confirmed, the upcoming cars are yet to be announced. And it is likely that the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025 will possibly host new and upcoming cars, such as the Maruti eVX, Tata Harrier EV, Tata Sierra EV, Mahindra BE 6e, Mahindra XEV 9e, and Hyundai Ioniq 5 facelift.
