Update: Mahindra has launched the Scorpio N and you can check its prices here.
It’s just a day until Mahindra announces the prices of its much-awaited offering, the Scorpio N, on June 27. The third iteration of Mahindra’s popular SUV has been revealed and promises a lot with premium looks and upmarket features. If you had your eyes on one, then this report should come helpful as we explain the top five things you need to know before signing the dotted line.
Exterior Design
The Mahindra Scorpio N sure does look suave and premium with plenty of soft and clean lines. The design is more evolutionary rather than new. So the slatted grille is now sleeker, flanked by LED dual-beam projector headlights. In profile, the large alloys give it a purposeful stance, while at the rear-end you get new LED tail lamps with Audi-like dynamic turn indicators.
Interior Design
The Scorpio N gets a premium-looking black/brown dashboard with plenty of silver highlights for additional contrast. Its dashboard layout is simple and minimalistic with all the controls seeming to be placed at the right places. There’s also plenty of parts sharing like the steering wheel, instrument cluster, AC knobs, and infotainment system lifted off from the XUV700.
Features Onboard
The Scorpio N will get plenty of new additions including dual zone climate control, a Sony sound system with roof-mounted speakers, connected car tech with Alexa compatibility, wireless phone charger, a single-pane sunroof, and up to six airbags. Other features like cruise control, keyless entry, and steering mounted audio controls have been retained.
Engine Options
The Scorpio N will get the familiar 2-litre turbo-petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engines, paired with manual and automatic transmissions as well as rear and four-wheel drive. To make life easier for you, we have compiled the detailed specifications in the table below:
