Mahindra Will Commence Deliveries Of The Petrol-Powered XUV700 First

Mahindra will announce the delivery dates from October 10

 

While prices of all the variants of the Mahindra XUV700 are out, you’ll have to wait a little longer to get your hands on an actual unit, as the carmaker will announce delivery dates only on October 10, 2021. Moreover, it’ll be the petrol-powered variants that will be delivered first before the diesel variants.

 

Speaking of powertrains, the petrol mill will be a 2-litre petrol engine while the diesel option is a 2.2-litre diesel motor. Both engines can be paired with either manual or automatic transmission options. But,  an all-wheel drivetrain can only be specced with the AX7 diesel-automatic as an optional add-on for a premium of Rs 1.3 lakh.

The Mahindra XUV700 is priced from Rs 11.99 lakh to Rs 19.79 lakh (ex-showroom,Delhi) and is offered in two trims: MX and AdrenoX (AX), with the latter extending to the AX3, AX5, and AX7 variants. Feature highlights include a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, digital driver’s display, connected car tech, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a panoramic sunroof. An optional Luxury Pack adds features like a Sony 3D sound system and a 360-degree camera for a premium of Rs 1.8 lakh.

Safety features include seven airbags, ABS with EBD, front and rear parking sensors, and electronic stability programs. It also comes with a suite of autonomous driving assists that includes lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, high beam assist, autonomous emergency braking, and forward collision warning.  

 

Before deliveries of the Mahindra XUV700 commence, bookings will open on October 7. The SUV takes on the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq, VW Taigun, Tata Harrier/Safari, MG Hector/Hector Plus, and Hyundai Alcazar.
